I enjoy challenging projects so when this 100-year-old home showed up, I was immediately drawn to it. Built-in the 1900s, this home has been through many revisions and repairs. There are lots of fun details including curved trim and railings. I took the areas that needed to be repaired back to the original structure, where I replaced and reinforced what was necessary. A job like this is a delicate dance of knowing how far to take the repair versus just starting over from scratch. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with the end result. All the structural and finish work were completed by myself. However, it takes a team of skilled painters to add the finishing touches. This is where A-1 painting came in and did a fantastic job.
